A reckless sinner who humbly repents is celebrated over the proud whose confidence is in himself.
Jesus has a stern warning for us in this parable: He who covets and stores up treasure for himself and is not rich toward God is a fool.
While the parable of the Good Samaritan provides an example of compassion, Jesus also uses it to reveal a much deeper issue that requires not just a simple change in behavior but a full regeneration of the heart.

You will honor God and will serve the soul of your brother or sister if you prioritize the protection of their conscience.
God’s wisdom is not the wisdom of this age. Rather, the wisdom of God is the gospel of God revealed by the Spirit of God.
Maybe the smart people aren’t so smart after all. Knowledge is one thing. Wisdom is another.
We live wisely when we stay far from the forbidden woman, invest in the wife of our youth, and fear God.

Strange as it may seem, the heart that both fears and loves God is not divided but united in a singular way. The fear of God and the love of God are emotions rooted in trust. Faith in his warnings, causing us to fear. Faith in his promises causing us to love.
There are limitations that have been placed on us, limitations that we can’t do anything about: the limitation of death and the limitation of wisdom.
If you are a bonafide Christian filled with the Spirit of God, your lifestyle should reflect your allegiance to Christ.
